Unbeatable
plastic Wad for hunting and shooting
Pre-set fracture cup with
four parts anchored to the Wad.
Unbeatable for its excellent ballistic performance.
Our Wads are manufactured with first-quality raw material,
which we subject to special treatment
consisting in adding a special additive, so that they will
keep their original elasticity unchanged
over the years. This constant elasticity is confirmed when
examining Wads that have been fired
or left loaded in cartridges for years.
The Wads are tested at high pressure, after subjecting them
to low temperature treatment.
The different heights have been conceived to leave, with different
shot loads, enough case length
for excellent closing; the Wads are self-adjusting, to obtain
all heights when closing, within the
permitted mm range.
Important: the rod taking the Wad into the
Case must only press down the powder to the extent
required to ensure optimum distribution (for all of the Wad
kinds). |

FOR RETRIEVED
CASES OR
CASES WITH INCREASED INNER DIAMETER
If the Wad is loose in the Case, the gas seal will still be
assured.
This tolerance can be eliminated by using a taller Wad, so
as to squash
the tubular section when edging; this action widens the Wad
base,
thus enabling it to compensate for the larger inner Case diameter
(see Seal Action picture).
CARTRIDGE CLOSING BY ROUND OR CRIMP EDGE
For content or case size needs, thanks to its central elasticity,
“Super G” Wad enables to obtain (without any inconveniences
and
leaving ballistic data unchanged) all of the heights ranging
from open
to partially flattened damper (see pictures Nos. 2 and 3).
For crimp edging, we advise to use about 11 mm case, reckoned
from
the lead level to the case rim (see picture No. 4).
If the lead is lower, a taller Wad must be used |
 |
Main features:
A) CUP anchored to the Wad, with such pre-set fractures
as to withstand the forced actions of automatic loading.
B) 1 mm GUIDE RING - minimum friction along the barrel.
C) TUBULAR ELEMENT reducing impact force and leaving shot
spherical form unchanged - self-adjusting on
closing, thus keeping the load at constant pressure.
D) BEEHIVE-SHAPED STRUCTURE determining the heights of 22
- 25 - 27 mm Super G Wads.
E) DISC conceived for the deflagration instant, enlarging
the Wad base, to ensure safer gas seal. Excellent action
to re-use retrieved Cases or Cases with increased inner
diameter.
F) BALANCING KNUCKLES: the Wad pressed by the gas force
(see Seal Action picture) enables lead to evenly
go along the barrel for excellent spreads.
G)SEGMENT preventing the exit of solitary powder slices,
and offering better adherence to the Case; moreover,
thanks to its self-reducing capability, enables the Wad
to be loaded in cardboard Cases too.
